Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 4 hamburger buns

  • 4 slices of bacon

  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese

  • Lettuce leaves

  • Sliced tomatoes

  • Sliced red onions

  • Pickles

Instructions:

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat


In a bowl, combine the ground beef, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper


Mix well and shape into 4 burger patties


Grill the bacon slices until they are crispy


Remove and drain on paper towels


Place the burger patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness


During the last couple of minutes of grilling, brush each burger patty with BBQ sauce and top with a slice of cheddar cheese


Close the grill lid to melt the cheese


Toast the hamburger buns on the grill until they are lightly browned

Balsamic Onion, Bacon, and Goat Cheese Pizza

Indulge in the delightful combination of sweet balsamic onions, savory bacon, and creamy goat cheese on this delicious homemade pizza. The caramelized onions and balsamic drizzle add depth of flavor that will tantalize your taste buds.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pizza dough

  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 cups sliced onions

  • 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled

  • 1 1/2 cups crumbled goat cheese

  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Set your oven to 475F 245C before you start cooking


Low-simmer the balsamic vinegar in a small saucepan until it cuts in half and turns into a syrup


It should only take ten to fifteen minutes


Leave it alone to cool down


Put the olive oil in a pan and heat it over medium-low heat


It will take about 20 to 25 minutes of cooking after adding the sliced onions until they turn caramelized and golden brown


Add pepper and salt


On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into the shape and thickness you want for your pizza


Put the pizza dough on a pizza stone or baking sheet


Brush a little olive oil on the pizza dough, then spread the caramelized onions out over it all


Put the crumbled bacon on top of the onions, and then add the crumbled goat cheese


It should be baked in a hot oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and a little browned


Pour the vinegar that has been boiled down over the pizza that has been baked


Add some fresh basil leaves as a garnish


Cut it up, serve it, and enjoy!

Cut up some tomato, bacon, and red onion rings and add them to the sandwich


Add the rest of the maple syrup on top


Add the other half of the bun on top, and if needed, use a toothpick to hold it in place

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups warm water 110F

  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast


Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy


Add flour, olive oil, and salt to the yeast mixture


Mix until it forms a dough


Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic


Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size


Preheat your oven to 475F 245C and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat


Punch down the dough and divide it into two portions for two 12-inch pizzas


Roll out each portion into a 12-inch circle on a floured surface

Instructions:

Place chicken thighs in the Instant Pot


Pour salsa and taco seasoning over the chicken


Close the lid, set the Instant Pot to Manual mode, high pressure, and cook for 10 minutes


Once done, perform a quick release, shred the chicken with forks, and mix well with the cooking juices

Pork Stew Tacos: Carne Adovada

You can make great tacos with Carne Adovada, a tasty and flavorful pork stew. The pork is first marinated in a thick red chile sauce. It is then cooked slowly until it is soft and full of flavor. The soft, spicy, and fresh ingredients in these tacos go well together.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds pork shoulder, cut into chunks

  • 1 cup red chile sauce

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 12 small tortillas

  • 1 cup shredded lettuce

  • 1 cup diced tomatoes

  • 1/2 cup diced onions

  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro

  • 1/2 cup crumbled queso fresco

Instructions:

Put the minced garlic, dried oregano, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl


You can also add hot sauce


To make the marinade, mix it well


Make sure the pork shoulder chunks are well covered when you add them to the marinade


Put it in the fridge with the lid on for at least two hours, or overnight for the best results


Put the vegetable oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven and heat it over medium-high heat


Spread the pork out in the pan and cook it until all sides are browned


Put the lid on and turn down the heat to low


Simmer for about two hours, or until the pork is soft and the sauce has thickened


Do something to warm up the tortillas while the pork is cooking


You can use a dry skillet or the microwave to do this


If you want to make smaller pieces of pork, use two forks to shred it right in the grill


Stir the sauce to cover the pork with it


Put some carne adovada on each tortilla to make the tacos


Add salsa fresco, chopped fresh cilantro, diced tomatoes, diced onions, and shredded lettuce on top


Feel free to serve the Carne Adovada Tacos right away and enjoy!
